Project Description
Qingdao Haijia Machinery is the backbone of the textile machinery industry in China. Xinguangzheng constructed the company’s workshop buildings project. This project includes a steel production workshop and a concrete auxiliary building. The total area of the whole workshop is 26,134.6 square meters. The length is 161.68 meters, and the total span is 162.615 meters.
Design and construction details
The design of the Qingdao Haijia Machinery Factory project focused on optimizing the functionality and efficiency of the production space. The project utilized clear span construction to ensure open space in the workshop. At the same time, this design enhances the flexibility of the workshop layout. The following are key features of the design and construction:
High load-bearing capacity: The design of the steel structure takes into account the need for heavy machinery and equipment in the production process. This design ensures that the entire workshop has sufficient load-bearing capacity. This will meet the high load-bearing requirements of textile production.
Flexible space layout: The large span design eliminates the need for pillars in the workshop. This design provides greater spatial flexibility. It can be easily adapted and expanded later to meet production needs.
The auxiliary building is partially constructed of concrete. During construction, special attention was paid to insulation and solidity. The area is mainly used for offices, control rooms and other auxiliary function spaces. Therefore, special attention was paid to providing a stable and comfortable working environment when designing it.
Project Advantages
Productivity: The steel workshop’s seamless design simplifies the production process. This design is particularly beneficial for the manufacture of large textile machinery.
Cost-effectiveness: The use of steel for the main structure ensures structural integrity. The design also reduces construction time and costs.
Sustainability: The steel structure is recognized for its recyclability, which is very much in line with environmentally friendly building practices.
Space Utilization: The large span design maximizes space utilization. The design is not limited by space and can accommodate heavy and large textile machinery.
