Costa Rica Supermarket

Costa Rica Supermarket

Project Details

Project Description

The Costa Rica Supermarket Project is located in Costa Rica and covers a total area of 5,315 square meters. The project features a modern Portal Steel Frame structure combined with partial mezzanine sections, designed to meet the diverse needs of the supermarket. The roof and walls are constructed from color-coated steel panels, with glass wool used as insulation. This design not only ensures the building’s stability and durability but also provides excellent thermal insulation, making it ideal for operation in a tropical climate.

The main steel structure has been treated with two layers of paint to enhance its corrosion resistance and extend its lifespan. This dual protection ensures that the building remains stable and aesthetically pleasing even in humid and corrosive environments. The use of color-coated steel panels not only gives the building a modern appearance but also improves the weather resistance and fire performance of the materials.

Structural Features

Structure Type: The supermarket is built with a Portal Steel Frame structure, known for its efficient space utilization and strong load-bearing capacity. This structure is ideal for large-span buildings, providing spacious, column-free areas that are highly beneficial for the supermarket’s interior layout and operations. In addition, the use of mezzanines in certain areas further optimizes space, increasing storage and office areas.

Wall and Roof Materials: The walls and roof are constructed from a composite of color-coated steel panels and glass wool. The color-coated steel panels provide excellent weather resistance and fire protection, while the glass wool insulation effectively blocks external heat, maintaining a stable internal temperature. This design is particularly suited to Costa Rica’s tropical climate, ensuring a comfortable shopping experience even in high temperatures.

Surface Treatment: The main steel structure is treated with two layers of paint, significantly enhancing its corrosion resistance and extending the building’s lifespan. This dual paint treatment allows the structure to maintain superior performance even in humid and corrosive environments, ensuring long-term durability.

Facilities: The supermarket’s interior design emphasizes practicality and customer experience, with advanced air conditioning and ventilation systems to ensure a comfortable shopping environment. The energy-efficient lighting systems provide ample illumination while saving energy, enhancing the shopping experience, and reducing operational costs.

Project Advantages

Efficient Space Utilization: The Portal Steel Frame structure provides spacious, column-free areas, ideal for large-scale supermarket operations.

Durable Materials: The combination of color-coated steel panels and glass wool offers excellent fire resistance, corrosion protection, and thermal insulation.

Long-lasting Protection: The main steel structure, treated with dual layers of paint, offers enhanced corrosion resistance, ensuring long-term durability.
