Project Description
Xinguangzheng designed and built two cutting-edge logistics warehouses in Peru. These warehouses, totaling 50,000 square meters, were made to tackle the client’s growing storage demands. They feature modern features like seismic-resistant construction, optimal ventilation, and eco-friendly materials.
This project increased storage capacity by 35%, reduced operational costs, and elevated logistics efficiency. The result was a highly durable and efficient logistics hub. It was tailored to meet the client’s operational needs and Peruvian regulatory standards.
The Problem
The client faced significant challenges in meeting growing business demands:
Storage Limitations: Existing facilities lacked sufficient capacity to handle rising inventory volumes.
Outdated Infrastructure: Inefficient and aging structures increased operational costs, limited logistics workflows, and failed to protect goods from environmental factors.
Regulatory Requirements: Strict Peruvian seismic and environmental standards mandated modern design and high-quality materials to ensure the structural integrity of new facilities.
Operational Efficiency: The need for streamlined storage layouts accommodating both bulk goods and high-turnover items posed additional complexities.
With these hurdles threatening operations and growth, the client sought a solution that combined advanced logistics infrastructure with regulatory compliance.
The Solution
Xinguangzheng provided a turnkey solution tailored to the client’s needs. This included the design, prefabrication, and construction of two warehouses totaling 50,000 square meters.
Building A (30,000 sqm):
Large-span steel structure with column-free interiors for high-density bulk storage.
Automated racking systems to optimize vertical storage and navigation.
Reinforced concrete flooring with a weight-bearing capacity of 6 tons/sqm to support heavy equipment.
Ten loading docks to streamline bulk shipments and deliveries.
Building B (20,000 sqm):
Modular layout designed for smaller parcels and high-turnover goods.
Climate-controlled environment to ensure the safety of sensitive items.
Eight loading docks for efficient processing and distribution.
Both buildings included:
Seismic-Resistant Construction: Structures engineered to withstand Peru’s seismic Zone 4 activity with reinforced steel connections.
Ventilation and Moisture Control: High-strength galvanized steel panels with 100mm insulation layers and exhaustive ventilation systems to combat coastal humidity and prevent product spoilage.
Fire Safety Complianc
Result
Xinguangzheng’s solution brought many benefits to the client:
Storage Expansion: Warehouse space grew by 35%, making room for more inventory and supporting growth.
Enhanced Efficiency: New layouts and automated systems streamlined logistics and cut down on handling times.
Cost Savings: The modern, energy-saving warehouses cut down on costs compared to old facilities.
Durability and Protection: The warehouses were built to last, with designs that protect goods and keep operations running smoothly.
Timely Delivery: Both warehouses were finished on time, keeping operations running smoothly and meeting the client’s goals.
